I’m Peach Berry, Professional Hair and Make Up Artist – based in the East Midlands. I have a kit…I will travel.
As a qualified Hair and Make Up Artist, I bring my personality, passion and skills to each and every booking; taking on projects in various areas of the industry. I take pride in building positive relationships with my clients and building on their own inspiration, using the art of aesthetics to bring out confidence and make you feel YOUR kind of beautiful.
Whilst I specialise in Vintage and Alternative styling, I will always use my expertise to create a style that YOU feel most beautiful with, I create a safe space for trying new styles and discussing your inspiration for your desired look and I value your input and ideas throughout the whole process.
My decision to finally retrain as a Hair and Make Up Artist in my early 30s came from a love of encouraging confidence and empowering women to see themselves in an entirely glamourous, different light. My career began on the stage - as a dancer until I was 25, which gave me some invaluable experience with make up and hair styling for theatre productions and photography. Ever since my childhood introduction to make up through film, stage and, later, being asked to do make up for my friends’ weddings, I have had a real passion for Hair and Make Up and how styling can be transformative; whether it’s creating a character, making a blushing bride feel her most beautiful, or designing and creating themes for a photoshoot.
Since setting myself up as a freelance Hair and Make Up Artist in 2015, I have been lucky enough to work with many beautiful brides and gorgeous clients across the East Midlands. I take great pleasure in teaming up with other hair and make up artists to create glam teams to suit your every need.
I work alongside some fantastic local and national photographers and brands including my first music video for Koto Kill (December 2016). I have rediscovered my love of character creation for the stage and screen, notably taking on the role of Lead Hair and Make Up for PTC's Jekyll and Hyde at Nottingham Arts Theatre (March 2016), Jesus Christ Superstar (September 2016) and Blind Eye’s production of ‘The Picture of Dorian Grey’ (2018).
I am a qualified hairstylist and am based at Deckchair Barbers and Hairdressers in Nottingham, where I offer cutting and colouring services - bookings and walk ins available.
